For a client to be eligible for citizenship, there are three ways to pay for the property's cost:
- Open a bank account in Turkey. Transfer the money to your bank account in Turkey. Pay the final payment from your account to the owner's account and receive a pay slip with the appropriate annotation attached. During this process, you will be eligible for citizenship.
- Follow the same procedure from your foreign bank account to the property owner's account. You will also be entitled to receive citizenship during this process.
- Send the payments to the attorney account of a Turkish lawyer (a member of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations, www.barobirlik.org.tr) to whom you have granted power of attorney, including the authority to assist you with the citizenship application and property purchase.
Permit them to complete the deal and get the receipt on your behalf, as well as issue the deed.
In this way, you are also entitled to receive citizenship.
A lawyer's account is an account that a lawyer uses to conduct transactions related to practicing his legal profession and regularly receive money from his clients.
People from all over the world who, like Iranians, have trouble creating a bank account in Turkey or who have financial troubles in their home countries, such as Lebanon, utilize lawyer accounts for their citizenship investments
According to the most recent modifications to the Banking Law, in order to register and operate a bank account in Turkey, the customer must be physically present and sign the relevant contracts. Due to this, customers who lack the time or ability to travel to Turkey should do the procedure through an attorney's account.
