Documents Required for Residence Permit:

The residency applications in Hungary are directed to the Hungary Migration Bueau or Hungary's foreign delegates.
Health Insurance:
The original and the copy of the health insurance which covers every possible health hazards within the country, from a company who is authorized in Hungary.

Taken in the last 6 months, white background, 35x45mm, colouored photograph.
Passport:
- The original and the copy of the passport that contains the biometrics.
- Must be valid and still valid for 6 more months and also must have two blank pages.
-Passports older than 10 years won't be accepted. The applicants must leave their passports at the consulate through the process.
Criminal Record Certificate:
Criminal Record is needed for the application process. The main applicant must obtain the document of criminal record from the country of residence or birth. The document must not be older than 6 months. Must verify from the competen authority before application.
Proof of Investment
The proof of sufficient financial sources in which would cover every expense throughout the time in your stay. This must include bank statements, payrolls, retirement documents and other sources of income.
Birth Certificate:
Birth certificate and a copy for both dependent parents and children, duly legalized.
Educational Documents:
For dependent children over 18, evidence of dependency on the main applicant, such as a student certificate, university annual payment, and a certificate confirming single status. Documents proving legal residence in the consular district or personal attendance at courses within the consular district.
Dependency Documents:
Marriage certificate, birth certificates of childern and passports of dependency and/or ID cards must be shown. Also, the health insurances of family members must be present. The documents must be correct and up to date. It is important to verify with the official authorities about the application process and the required documents.
Visa Fee Receipt:
Proof of payment of the visa fee paid in local currency.

Investment Documents:
Investment documents for a residence permit in Hungary must be in accordance with the investment program. These documents include purchasing documents for treasury bills or mutual funds, bank documents and investment contracts, depending on the type of investment.
Financial Sufficiency Certificate:
Documents showing that the applicant and his family members are financially able to cover their living and expenses in Hungary; It includes bank account information, regular income certificate, investment documents and documents showing the value of movable assets owned.
Can Hungarian Citizenship Be Obtained by Investment?
Yes, the total amount of investment to obtain permanent residence in Hungary is 360.000 €, the investment required to obtain permanent residence in Hungary is as follows:
- Investment in Government Bonds: 300.000 €
This amount will be used to purchase special purpose government bonds. This investment will be fully repaid after 5 years.
- İdari Ücretler: 60.000 €
This amount will cover all costs associated with applying for a residence permit, applying for a permanent residence permit, purchasing government bonds and returning on investment after 5 years.
How Long Is the Hungary Golden Visa Valid?
The Hungarian Golden Visa provides investors with the right of residence for a period of 5 years and the opportunity to travel freely in Hungary during this period. At the end of the residence permit period, the investor can renew the residence permit or apply for Hungarian citizenship if he meets the appropriate conditions.
How to renew your permanent residence in Hungary?
For the renewal of permanent residence, you must apply 1-2 months before the card expires. You are also required to provide your passport, identity document and Hungarian address card. If all transactions were done correctly, your card will be reissued within four weeks.
